The Lodge is a wonderful place to relax and enjoy the beauty of winter. At nearly any time of the year (conditions permitting), the aurora borealis can be seen. However, in late fall and winter these ionic displays can be nothing less than breathtaking, as seen in the above photograph. Tourists from around the world, especially our Asian visitors view these lights as harbinger of good luck to those couples who are anticipating or planning for a newly born.
